Here's something Posted Aug 25 2008 Department of Defense Deployment Related Medical Research Program $92 million in Funding Opportunities for Fiscal Year 2008 Deadlines: October 15th 2008 Fiscal Year 2008 (FY08) Supplemental appropriations bill (Public Law 110-252) appropriated $273,800,000 to address prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and mitigation of deployment-related injuries and psychological health concerns. The Deployment Related Medical Research Program (DRMRP) was established to administer an investment of approximately $92,000,000 of this appropriation. The DRMRP will be managed by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The policy is in effect and requires submission of final, peer-reviewed manuscripts accepted for publication on/after April 7, 2008 resulting from NIH-funded research. Any article supported all or in part by an NIH grant must be submitted to PubMed Central (PMC) within 12 months of its publication date. Effective May 25, 2008, anyone submitting an application, proposal, or progress report to the NIH must include the PMC or NIH Manuscript Submission reference number when citing applicable articles that arise from their NIH-funded research.
