The UT Southwestern Medical Center Clinical Referral Network makes available the expertise of faculty in dozens of medical specialties to primary-care physicians and their patients by providing direct access to UT Southwestern faculty, patient care programs and facilities.

Practicing physicians can obtain access to a full range of services:

• Medical consultation with more than 500 UT faculty physicians representing almost every medical subspecialty
• Patient referral arrangements
• Information about research protocols
• Information about patient care programs in affiliated inpatient and outpatient facilities (including the Aston Ambulatory Care Center, Children's Medical Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Zale Lipshy University Hospital, St. Paul University Hospital and the Dallas Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center)
• Patient transfer coordination
• Direct contact with your hospitalized patient
• Prompt appointment scheduling
• Accommodations at reduced rates in several nearby hotels for out-of-town patients and family members
• Current patient management protocols
