The CTRC is a clinical research unit that provides services to the faculty and staff of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and other partners in the North and Central Texas Clinical and Translational Science Initiative (NCTCTSI). The CTRC is comprised of an outpatient facility and an inpatient unit dedicated to supporting clinical research.

The CTRC's facilities can provide:

  • Services of trained research personnel (research nurse, research coordinator, and phlebotomist).
  • Laboratory for specimen collection, preparation, and dispatch.
  • Clinic office space for study visits.

Service requests must follow guidelines described in the General Submission Form, which can be obtained by contacting the CTRC (see below).

The CTRC is supported in part by a Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
