UT Southwestern maternal-fetal medicine specialists work side-by-side with physicians from our general obstetrics and gynecology division and community obstetricians to provide seamless patient care during pregnancy. Our maternal-fetal medicine physicians provide a 24-hour-a-day high-risk consultation and referral service to obstetricians and their patients from the local community and throughout Texas and the southwestern United States.
We offer a maternal transport service for women experiencing complications during their pregnancy. Working with a team of neonatologists staffing Dallas' first level III Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery, the doctors at UT Southwestern offer an extensive array of diagnostic, consultative, and treatment options for both mother and child.
We have established a maternal-fetal transport hotline for the convenience of obstetricians. The hotline provides direct physician-to-physician contact (24/7) for high-risk obstetrical cases and is the number to call when arranging transportation of patients to maternal-fetal medicine specialists at UT Southwestern University Hospital. For non-urgent, non-emergency problems, please call 214-645-3837.
